Funny Woman

Funny Girl is
one of the greatest musicals ever made. The
Oscar-winning 1968 classic propelled Barbra
Streisand to stardom after famously tying with
Katharine Hepburn for the "Best Actress"
Academy Award.
A few years later, Barbra
Streisand played Fanny Brice once again in Funny
Lady.
Yet there was a lady in
1997 who earned an Academy Award nomination by (in)famously
screaming,"*beep* BARBRA STREISAND!"
Sometimes being comedic is
not all that is cracked up to be...
But remember, In &
Out (1997) is NOT about burgers and fries.
Times have changed in
Hollywood since the 1960s, and that is because
people continue to find new ways to be funny (even
if that includes bawdy, dark, and sarcastic
humour).
How ironic...
