Will Forever Be
by Ian Curtress

I saw the elderly, park and bench
Behind that ageing countenance of a lady
I mused the life hidden there
Husband, possibly deceased, two or three children
One local, pops in
She was pretty for many happy years
Worthy of a kiss. Romantic
Children cannot dwell on that
Mum ! Dad! Sex!
The Immaculate deception!
A wealth of knowledge, life, joy, sadness
Undiscovered. Will die untapped
A few if only’s
When will we learn, an aged mind, memories, experience, Love
Forget Google
When you were an awkward teen. Grudgingly accept she was right
Access to her life usb would open your mind
Many errors and mistakes
Matters not. Value lies in making you think Vernacular……. out of the box
Teens hadn’t be invented,
Boy to man overnight….
………War the fertiliser!
All under the heading The Olden Days
LSD meant pounds shillings and pence. Arithmetic
Long division
Remember the Farthing……
Close the lid.
