“Hello?”

“Hello.”

“Honey, I ‘m sorry I have to work extra hours so I can’t have dinner with you. Will you please go out to dine?”

“Oh, Darling. What a pity you can’t have dinner with me, but I have to work longer too.”

“I see, but where are you? I hear music, and there seem to be a lot of people there.”

“Oh, I’m eating dinner in the dining hall. Yes, there’s music and there are many people here eating and talking loudly. I hear there is music around you too. And it sounds almost the same.”

“…”

In a dancing hall, Honey was walking along with her arm on a middle-aged man’s arm, speaking into her mobile phone. At the other end of the hall, Darling was sitting on a sofa, a charming lady leaning against him.

A new life style, extra work being done by young ladies and young men, had just spread in the city.
